Featured Artist

The very first time that I sat down and  photographed  J. Sophia, my camera fell in love.  The photoshoot was very informal and was set outside her home.  I was pretty new to photography and decided to use black and white film in my Minolta.  Once I was in the dark room (yes, I use to process my own film), the beautiful  deep tones of her skin jumped off the page.  From there, she has been my willing muse and I have gone back and  photographed her again and again.
